Honda NeoWing concept. Finally, a near-production reverse trike that tilts and leans. Can Am Spyder take note.

It needs to be more Tron Legacy, than Transformers 4... but just build it. It can be re-skinned later. It hits the bullseye between the Tron Light Cycle that unfortunately doesn’t exist, and the Can Am F3 Spyder that doesn’t tilt, and fights centripetal forces. Maybe someone can hire Daniel Simon to re-body the NeoWing with new fairings and fenders.

Finally, after years of Goldwing owners turning their bikes into trikes, Honda released it that way from the factory!

Way, Way, WAY different. Opposite end of the spectrum different, because the dual-wheels are at the opposite end of the bike, and they tilt. Completely different physics, and probably half the mass or less, even if NeoWing is heavier than other 2-wheel motorcycles.

Wouldn’t own this if someone paid me to take it, unless I could sell it immediately and keep all the money.

Can’t I just make fun of all of the old people who are too handicapped to walk 20 more feet to a normal spot, but not handicapped enough to be unable to get on their trike?

My wife’s uncle owned one of these. I think it was more to keep from dropping it when his wife was on the back. He finally decided he was getting to old for it and sold both the Trike-Wing and the matching trailer.

You can say what you will, I am not your censor.

But those folks won’t be going anywhere near a NeoWing, either.

I have wondered what the appeal of those big (for a bike/trike) rigs are, with giant windhields, full-windbreaker fairings, radios, speakers, coolers that probably heat or refrigerate, trailers, pop-out campers with a kitchenette that has a stainless steel sink, and what-all....

Why not just a car with a folding top? I imagine there are a few that are cheaper. Handle bars and a wide turning circle, a requirement of a reverse gear, and no leaning... what “motorcycle” is left?

Seems with NeoWing, there is a fair amount of “motorcycle” left to that experience... but much less likelyhood of high-side or low-side falls on loose sand or errant steering physics like head-shake.
